KVKK Information Notice

This Information Notice is prepared under the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") to inform you, in our capacity as data controller, about the personal data we process through the weorbiz.com website (the product landing site for the "We Orbiz AI" Instagram assistant).

1. Data Controller

Under the KVKK, your personal data is processed by We Orbiz Limited Company, acting as data controller, whose identity and contact details are set out below:

This notice applies only to the weorbiz.com landing site. Our company is incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA, and to the extent we provide our service to users in Turkey, we comply with the provisions of the KVKK.

2. Personal Data We Process

The actual data flows through this site are limited. The categories and items of personal data we process are as follows:

  • Donation (Stripe) data: Minimal transaction-verification information relating to voluntary donations made through our site via Stripe. Donations are charged in Turkish Lira (TRY). We never see or store your card details; payment data is processed directly by Stripe (see the Stripe Privacy Policy).
  • Usage/analytics data: Anonymous usage statistics collected through Google Analytics 4. For this purpose, the _ga and _gid cookies are placed on your browser (see the Google Privacy Policy).
  • Instagram AI assistant data: When @weorbiz is mentioned under an Instagram post or reel, the commenter's Instagram username, the comment text, and the content of the analyzed post/reel are processed to generate an AI-powered reply.
  • Blog reader data: Our blog content is served from a shared database; no personal data is collected from blog readers beyond the anonymous analytics described above.

Your theme (appearance) preference is stored in your browser's localStorage; this is not a cookie and does not constitute personal data. This site has no other data-collection method such as a contact form, newsletter subscription, or phone-number collection.

3. Purposes and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is processed on the basis of the processing conditions set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, for the following purposes:

  • Carrying out donation transactions: To receive, verify, and record voluntary donations; based on the legal grounds that processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c) and our legitimate interests (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
  • Providing the service (Instagram AI assistant): To generate an AI reply when @weorbiz is mentioned; based on the legal grounds of performance of the service (KVKK Art. 5/2-c) and legitimate interests (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
  • Improving and analyzing the site: To measure and improve site performance through anonymous usage statistics; based on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1) and/or our legitimate interests (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
  • Fulfilling legal obligations: To meet obligations arising from applicable law; based on the legal grounds that processing is expressly provided for by law and necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-a, Art. 5/2-ç).
For processing based on explicit consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to the date of withdrawal.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to the following recipient groups, limited to the purposes stated above and in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK:

  • Stripe, Inc.: Payment and transaction data, for the purpose of processing donation payments (see the Stripe Privacy Policy).
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics 4): For the purpose of anonymous usage analytics (see the Google Privacy Policy).
  • Meta Platforms / Instagram: Owing to the nature of the Instagram AI assistant service, comment and content data are processed through the relevant Instagram platform.

Transfer abroad: Because our company is incorporated in the United States and the above service providers are located abroad, your personal data is transferred abroad, in particular to the United States. This transfer is carried out within the framework of Article 9 of the KVKK, with the necessary security measures in place and on an appropriate legal ground (your explicit consent or the satisfaction of the other conditions provided for by the Law).

5. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected electronically and through automated or partially automated means during your interaction with the weorbiz.com website and our services:

  • Through cookies and similar technologies: Anonymous usage data via the _ga and _gid cookies placed by Google Analytics 4.
  • Through the payment infrastructure: Transaction-verification information transmitted via the Stripe payment flow when you make a voluntary donation.
  • Through the Instagram platform: When @weorbiz is mentioned, comment and related content data are transmitted to our system via Instagram.

As this site has no contact form, no personal data is collected directly through a form. Functional settings such as your theme preference are stored only in your browser's localStorage, on your own device.

6. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in the country or abroad,
  • Request rectification if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
  • Request the erasure or destruction of your data within the conditions provided for in the KVKK,
  • Request that rectification, erasure, or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your processed data solely through automated systems,
  • Claim compensation for damage you suffer due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

We undertake to conclude your erasure and destruction requests within 30 days at the latest, subject to the exceptions provided for by applicable law.

7. How to Apply

You may submit requests relating to the rights listed above by sending an e-mail, together with information verifying your identity, to ads@weorbiz.com.

Clearly stating the subject of your request in your application will help us respond more quickly and accurately. Your requests will be concluded as soon as possible and within the periods provided for in the KVKK, depending on their nature.
